Acceptable Use Policy

What you must and must not do with Konvrs.

The short version

Call people who have agreed to hear from you, at sensible hours, say honestly who is calling, and stop when asked.

You must

  • Have consent, or another lawful basis, for every person you call, and keep a record of it. Promotional calls need recorded consent from the person called.
  • Call only 9 AM – 9 PM IST. Konvrs enforces this and you can only narrow it.
  • Let the AI introduce itself as an AI assistant at the start of every call.
  • Stop calling anyone who asks you to stop, and do not try to reach them another way through Konvrs.
  • Give accurate information about who you are and why you are calling.
  • Follow the Indian rules for telecom commercial communications, consumer protection, data protection and, if you work in a regulated field (for example lending, insurance, health), that field's rules on contacting people.

You must not

  • Call numbers on a do-not-call list for the kind of call you are making, or use Konvrs to get round a block.
  • Call international numbers or premium-rate numbers through Konvrs.
  • Impersonate a person, bank, government body or other organisation, or mislead people about who is calling.
  • Use Konvrs for harassment, threats, fraud, phishing, collecting OTPs or passwords, or anything unlawful.
  • Upload contact lists you have scraped, bought without consent records, or otherwise obtained unlawfully.
  • Generate or play content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or that targets children.
  • Probe, overload or attack the service, share credentials, or resell access without our written permission.
  • Use LeadFinder data to do anything the LeadFinder Notice does not allow.

What we do about problems

We monitor for signs of misuse such as many people asking to be left alone, or complaints. A campaign can be paused automatically and our team alerted. We can limit features, suspend an account, or end the agreement, and where the law requires we will cooperate with authorities. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
